For sale here is a set of $10, $20 and a $100 Series 1928 Gold Certificates. The $100 is in very nice and white condition, and the paper body on the $10 and the $20 is also quite good but with a little more soil than the $100. There are no defects on these notes except for a pair of large pinholes on the left side of the $20. If you like nice looking small size US type, this is a nice grouping for a type collection or for investment. Certainly the 1928 Gold Seal notes are an appe...aling series to collect, and it is easy to forget that the Treasury Department issued a rule in 1934 (which was never enforced) that made illegal the possession of any notes in this series until they withdrew the prohibition in 1964. Today the only yellow seal banknotes that are still banned for collecting are the Series 1934 Gold Certificates (which have never been in actual circulation). This group of small size 1928 Series Gold Certificates is for sale without reserve.
