ANTIQUE 1771 ROTTINGDEAN UK ENGLAND VELLUM INDENTURE MANUSCRIPT WAX SEAL SILVER
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:2255 | Material: Vellum |
Up for auction is an original vellum Rottingdean, Great Britain/England indenture manuscript "Release of two classes" document dating from 1771. States several names. The indenture is hand written on vellum. It has wax ...seals and signatures. Also stamps with a small sterling silver piece on the stamp. The indenture is part of a collection I am auctioning off. It comes with an index card with research information on the subject of the document. There is an inventory sticker on it to match it up with the research card. This can be easily removed with doing no damage to the vellum. Condition is very nice for its age. No rips, no holes and displays well. Measures approx. 23 7/8" tall by 30 3/4" wide. It displays well and would look great framed. Rare original antique document and is a must for any collector. Fresh from a 90 year estate collection and is fresh to the market. Glare spots are from the lights reflection and NOT on the actual item. See my other auctions for other items and from the same collection.
