An authentic antique embroidery sampler.Made by Janet Hutson in 1850 or 1851 probably. (I already listed and sold her sampler from 1852.)(Based on research on a website, I believe that she was born in 1841 in Manor, Peebles, Scotland. Married John Wilkie...... had daughter Christian V. G. and son Andrew H. Janet died in 1917 in Penicuik, Scotland.)From an estate of a San Francisco Bay Area family, Robertson / Stanbridge.
