OMI HAKKEI, No. 2 KARASAKI YAU, NIGHT RAIN AT KARASAKI Description: A superb antique Japanese woodblock print, originally created in 1857 by one of the most famous of artists of the time, Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), this version being a later 19th Century re-print.
This is No. 2 in the series Omi Hakkei (8 views of Omi), entitled Night Rain at Karasaki (Karasaki Yau).
