1955 Vintage Econolite Niagara Falls Oval Motion Lamp

This is an Econolite motion lamp that is was made in 1955. It measures 10 1/4” tall and is in very good condition for being over 60 years old. It does have a few very small scratches on the very bottom of the plastic cylinder and a little wear on the top ring as you can see from the pictures. They do not take away from this lamp when it's running. The inner cylinder has no damage. It has the original cord which is safe to use.
This is as clean a lamp that you can p...ossibly buy. It rotates great and the colors are awesome. In the Motion Lamp book (not included) it reads "Water falls, churns and bubbles at bottom, then flows downstream". It's a highly successful lamp judging by the large number that have survived. It was featured in the television movie Heart Full of Rain with Carol Baker and Richard Crenna. It is stamped ECONOLITE CORPORATION. It's quite a beautiful sight when lit. NOTE: Room must be fairly dark for the lamp to spin. You wouldn't want it running in the daytime anyways because it would be hard to see the motion.
