This setting features flatware, including knife, fork, and spoon, designed for the Air France Concorde and a small square porcelain plate. Both the flatware and the plate were designed by CEI (Compagnie d'Esthetique), a French industrial design company founded by Raymond Loewy. The back of the plate is stamped “Air France, Design CEI, Raymond Loewy, Paris, Raynaud, Limoges.” Each flatware piece is 6 ¼ inch (16cm) in length. The square plate is 4 5/8 inch (11.8 cm) across. Th...e flatware is in very good condition with very slight signs of wear. The plate is in excellent condition.
My wife’s aunt was aboard the ill fated Concorde that crashed in Paris. These items were acquired in her memory.
