I relisted this watch due to an error I have previously made and was corrected by a couple of eBay astute people. Here is a very decent and early Railroad grade 18 Size Elgin B W Raymond Lever set, stem wound pocket watch that dates back to 1888. This watch is now 131 years old and is running. Has a SIGNED 15 jewel... USA made movement, Model 2 Class 1. Serial # 2, 779, 563 indicates a production date of 1888. This unusual RR Grade watch is in a BALL Model J. Boss Ketstone Watch Case Co. case. Measures 55.8 mm wide not including the bow and crown. The case does show edge wear. The SIGNED movement is a beauty. Has the Moseley Regulator and is gold jewel settings and screwed chatons. This is an early very high quality Elgin pocket watch. The SIGNED dial is also very clean.It is double sunken and has black thin Roman numeral hour markers. Fancy blued hands. Clean but not perfect glass crystal. I have no service records for this antique Elgin BW Raymond Railroad side wind pocket watch. I am selling it as-is and as found and as described. I sell all my watches as-is and as found.
