A rare and amazing Chinese antique mudman/clay figurine of a scholar holding an umbrella, is in beautiful blue and white crackle glazes. The figurine was hand made and hand painted in finely crackled smooth glazes (the crackle pattern, the texture and the color similar to the famous Guan Yao). A tip of one thumb seemed lost, and there is a small chip on the right sleeve (see pictures for details). A seal/stamp of "CHINA" on the bottom. Size, 7.3" h, 3" l,... 3" d, weight, 14 oz. A very rare collectable!
