Antique 10" Claude Blampoix Sr. B 2/0 S 1850, 60s French Fashion Poupee Doll. Small opening and patch on her rear, some of the hand stitching is giving way at rear near waist. Otherwise, a nicely preserved kid leather body with a long tiny waist and mitt hands. Some darkening of the mold lines on the bisque head but no cracks or chips. Ears are not pierced. Lovely painted features and eyes. She has a carved down cork to use as a pate. 2 5/8" upper forehead to ba...se of front. 2 3/4"across the front of the shoulder plate, shoulder to shoulder. I believe the wig is modern mohair in the antique style. Clothing items as pictured.
It's a relist with a much reduced start - I hope to get some bidders this time!
