A hard tofind piece in the Vienna Woods Line of Blue Danube pattern, a copy of the mucholder Blue Onion pattern made by Meissen pottery. The dish is an elevated ovaldish, shallow with vertical bars on the bottom to raise the bar of soap out ofany water and to allow the soap bar to drip dry. The dish is help up by a shortstem with a wide round foot. all the pieces are decorated with the blue patternof flowers and leaves on the outside surfaces. The inside of he oval dish has arepeating ...motif petite flowers. Overall about 4 3/4” long and about 3 1/3”tall. Free of chips cracks or flaws. Soap dish only, no box or papers.
