(ND 1987) 50 Dong B from Viet Nam. Foreign Exchange Certificate. Pk FX2a and serial number AD 0064932. Graded 66 Exceptional Paper Quality Gem Uncirculated by PMG. Vietnam’s currency, the Dong, was not freely tradable in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Foreign Exchange Certificates (FEC) like this 50 Dong certificate were used by tourists as a means of payment. This blue-green... coloured 50 Dong bill has Vietcombank’s name, logo and headquarters on the back side. A great gem example showcasing strong inks on bright crisp paper with evident embossing.
