ABOUT:Pretty little floral demitasse spoon from Shiebler's Flora line. This is the Lily of the Valley motif. Life like floral detail on front of the handle with a smooth back, very sturdy hand feel with wide handle for its petite size. Not a very often seen size in this smaller version. This pattern began production in 1889 so Victorian era piece. It has a beautiful, vibrant goldwash on both sides of the spoon bowl and "Pittsburg" engraved in the spoon bowl. &nbs...p;Not the spelling without the "h" at the end so it is a different Pittsburg than the one in Pennsylvania. : )MEASUREMENTS:The spoon measures 4 1/4" in length. Weighs 22 grams according to my little digital scale which is pretty hefty for a demitasse spoon.MARKS AND PATTERNS:Marked Sterling on the back with the Shiebler Hallmarks, patent info and #8.Please note this is in estate condition. Surface wear and scratches from use and polish over the years. Pattern on the handle is still very crisp without any damage, it seems in better than most condition. But Please note that due to age, this is not in mint condition. I have many more pieces of sterling flatware listed so please see my other auctions and create a set!SHIPPING:I ship internationally using the Global Shipping Program and due to the high cost of shipping, I don't allow returns so please see photos and condition notes closely!I dearly love, collect, use and sell antique American sterling silver flatware and housewares including Tiffany and Co., Gorham, Durgin, Shiebler and more!
