A vintage pair of Romanian Pottery Bird Whistles from Neptun Summer Resort on the Black Sea, Romania - dated 1976
&...nbsp; "1976 Romania Neptun" has been hand-painted on each piece
*Both pieces are in vintage condition, shiny finish with some chipping - please look closely at photos
*Black floral bird whistle with beak wide open whistles loud and clear
*Colorful bird whistle does not whistle very well (clogged perhaps?)
*Black floral bird is about 3 1/2 inches in length and height, and about 2 inches wide
*Colorful bird is about 4 1/2 inches in length, 3 1/2 in height, and about 2 inches wide
The Danube Delta (also located on the Black Sea Coastline) and is an extremely popular destiny for bird watching. I think that the black floral bird might be a Warbler. I'm not sure what species the other bird is.
