Original Description:
Antique Victorian Adjustable Piano Stool With Ornate Art Nouveau Cast Iron Base. It measures from 19 1/2" high to at least 22 1/2" high; the top seat is about 14" wide; the 3 legs base are about 16 5/8" apart from each other. Minor normal age wear only, the stool is quite solid and sturdy - see my 12 detailed photos. I believe it dates to 1860's Civil War era. I sold a few of the more common type piano stool made by companies such as Charles Parker and H Holtzman but this still has a m...uch more ornate base in cast iron. The upholstered covered top looks original and is made of a course type cloth.
