For sale beautiful Swiss made late 1960's Rado Green Horse automatic watch.I bought this off the son of the original owner who purchased it new.It comes in unrestored, original condition with original box and Rado beads of rice bracelet.Many of these 60's Rado's have been messed about with so it is rare to find one with this type of provenance and in this condition.Being a nice size for it's time, this has an all stainless steel case with lovely lugs in excellent original condition.It ...has a lovely silver dial with steel markers and date window at 3.The Rado anchor rotates as it should and it even has the original crystal with inverted date bubble.It oozes vintage style and is a really beautiful dial.It states "swiss made" at the base.
The watch has its original Rado signed crown and a screw down case back in excellent condition withe the green horse emblem.
The inside of the caseback is also stamped.
What is even better is that it comes with it's original Rado signed beads of rice bracelet.
This was specifically made for this watch and is in superb condition.
It has a ratchet clasp to expand and it will fit up to a 7 inch wrist with room to expand further.
To open the clasp you push a button and slide it across.
It is stamped "100% Stainless Steel - Rado" on the inside and is in excellent condition.
It uses a high quality signed Rado 30 jewel automatic movement which keeps excellent time with good power reserve.
The watch is 35mm in diameter without crown and 37mm with.
It is 42mm lug to lug and lug spacing is 18.5mm.
The box, which is also very rare, again is in excellent condition.
This is a superb original example in really hard to find condition.
If you like vintage Rado's you will struggle to find one as good as this.
