Original Description:
Here is a gorgeous majolica serving bowl. It measures 4.5" tall and 8.5" across at the rim. It is one of the most detailed pieces of majolica I have seen and looks so life like. The rim is silver and is marked but I cannot make it out. The base is a cauliflower head and there are three feet which look like pieces of cauliflower. There is an all over crazing but no chips or cracks. It has a black VB mark which dates to the early 1900s or late 1800s. This piece will make an excellent addition to a...ny collection.
