Please take a look at the photos as they form part of the description.THIS IS A UK SALE IN GBP STERLING.Whilst I try to list all the negative and positive aspects of an item in my listings it remains possible that some small aspect may be missed. You would be well advised to remember that unless I list something as mint it will be a used and/or antique item which may have the marks of day to day existence upon it, for example; a watch may no longer be waterproof, an item may have the odd mark here and there, slight fading etc.
Please note;
Vintage Wristwatches are usually wound by turning the crown in a clockwise direction, i.e. towards the 12 o'clock position. When resistance to the winding is experienced it is best to slow the winding action and to stop winding when full resistance is felt. Any attempts to wind the movement further will almost certainly cause damage to the movement.
Vintage watches are unless otherwise instructed, adjusted to the correct time by either unscrewing or pulling the crown, carefully out. This engages the hand adjust facility and allows the hands to be turned to the correct time.
It is important that the hands of vintage watches are only turned in a clockwise direction.
Vintage mechanical movements can be damaged by turning the hands backwards.
If you are unsure about any aspect of a vintage watch please email and ask before acting.
With all the watches we sell, we make no claims regarding continual accuracy of time keeping.
Antique & Vintage watches may need servicing, even if they are in good running condition.
Unless otherwise stated they may need to be cleaned, oiled, adjusted and or timed.
