You are bidding on a gorgeous piece of Mid 20th Century Italian Interior Design.
A Carlo Moretti ‘Satinato’ Glass Apothecary Jar made in the late 1960s through to the mid 1970s. This part of a range of glasswear Carlo Moretti produced with a Satin or Frosted finish, known as ‘Satinato’.
This lovely example is hand blown from a gorgeous colour combination. A ‘Frosted’ Ox Blood Red glass on the body and ‘Frosted’ Turquoise coloured Cover and Stem, creatin...g a fabulous piece of interior design for display.
It would make a great addition to a Mid 20th Century Contemporary design Scheme.
Its condition is Excellent! No Chips Cracks or Repairs! It does have a some surface scuffs and marks and some light base wear as you would expect for a piece of this age.
Measures: 7 inches in height x 5.5 inches across its body.
Overall a gorgeous example in displayable condition.
It would make a great addition to contemporary interior design scheme or as part of a vintage glass collection.
It would make a great christmas prezzy for the Vintage glass collector in your life!

Brief History of Carlo Moretti:Carlo Moretti founded his own company in 1958, and was later joined by Giovanni Moretti, his brother. Carlo Moretti produced colourful designs in a marbled pattern, as well as a range of vases and bowls with a matt finish known as Satinato. The same range can also be found in a glossy finish. Later they began production of drink ware glasses, along with more decorative vases. The company is still active today.
