AUDEMARS PIGUET 18k SOLID GOLD MEN’S DRESS WATCH. CAL. 2003. WITH POUCH/BOX.
A 1969 vintage Audemars Piguet 18k solid gold men’s dress watch in classic tonneau shape with original gold dial. This watch has a beautifully detailed Cal. 2003 mechanical manual wind movement. It has been fitted with a brand new genuine lizard skin strap for the new owner, and comes with vintage pouch/box.
It has an elegant and luxuri...ous design, with clean classic lines it is understated yet eye catching in solid 18k yellow gold.
MEASUREMENTS: 34mm length, 30mm width inc. crown. Being a Tonneau shape it wears a little larger that a round watch of the same width due to the extra area.
DIAL - is its original gold dial that is in excellent condition with very little sign of any patina - please see close up photographs for details.
CASE - is in solid 18k yellow gold in excellent condition, all correct markings are clear on the inside case back. It has some minor use/age related marks/scuffs/wear/scratches as per photographs, but no major damage.
MOVEMENT - is the wonderful famous mechanical manual wind Cal. 2003 movement, that is nicely detailed and currently running at ~+28s per day on flat with details as per Timegrapher trace analysis photograph.
CRYSTAL - is good overall, without any large scratches/marks.
CROWN - is nice, original and in good condition.
STRAP - a brand new brown genuine lizard skin strap, with new gold colored (not solid gold) buckle has been fitted for the new owner.
POUCH/BOX - as per photographs the pouch has some average age/use related wear but is in good genuine overall condition as is the outer box.
As per as all vintage watches, no guarantee on its operation or timekeeping can be given and I’d recommend you have it serviced after you receive it so it can give you many more years of worry free service.
