Here is a VERY RARE vintage Movado Automatic Chronometre
in 18K ROSE gold.
It is rare to find a Movado of this vintage in a rose gold case
with a 28 jewels CHRONOMETER movement in the first place.
More importantly, this watch was a special order placed by the
Royal Kuwaiti Family to be awarded as an official gift.
I was told that the crest you see on this dial is an older one for Kuwait, predating 1962.
Movado has always signed their watches with the Movado in the upper half.
The fact that all the original factory text is below the center attests to the factory leaving the top half for the special printing.
Oyster dial with rose gold hour markers and rose gold matching hands.
The dial has some age spotting but not very readily noticeable.
The case is hallmarked on the crown side as well as on the lug at 11 o'clock.
The case back is also fully hallmarked on the inside.
The watch comes ONLY with a used brown lizard band and a plain buckle.
We can supply you with an 18K pink gold buckle however this would be at an additional charge of $280.
A matching color 18K gold bracelet as pictured here as well, which will fit a 7.5 inch wrist, is also available at an additional charge!!!
This 28 jewels automatic movement was serviced in January 2017 so
you will receive it in good working order.
