From the early 1970's this beautiful amethyst carnival glass Hen On A Nest candy dish is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. There is some wear on the bottom edge from use as would be expected. This piece measures 5 1/4" in length, 4 1/4" tall with tail feathers and is 4 1/4" wide. The base has a 10 arch design and a scalloped edge. The hen has a split tail and can be used to lift the lid with ease. The bottom of the dish has the Fenton name inside an oval. The in...side of the dish has the Fenton label and an original price sticker of $6.00 from back in the day. Purchased from an estate I have only lightly dusted being careful not to loosen the inside labels. Any further cleaning is up to the buyer. Please view all photos as they are part of the description.
