Ironstone teapot in the Empress pattern by Wm. Adams & Sons, England. This mid century piece has a hexagon shape with ribs on the lower section of the pot.
It’s a creamy white and in very good condition. There is minor crazing and one tiny chip on the lid, as shown in the last photo.Holds 5 cups, 5-1/2” high x 9-3/4” handle to spout x 5-1/2” wide.
On the bottom marked in black:REAL•ENGLISH•IRONSTONEWm ADAMS & SONSENGLAND This mark was used begi...nning in 1950 and replaced by another in 1962.
