For sale: Beautiful VF/NM copy of Uncle Scrooge #219, published by Gladstone. Not just the first comic art by Don Rosa published in the United States, but also autographed by Mr. Rosa in gold ink on the front cover. Great story and art as well -- classic "The Son of the Sun" story, with an appearance by Scrooge's old nemesis Flintheart Glomgold. Very rare collectible. Shipped via USPS media mail.

* Grading is and always has been a subjective exercise -- a book submitted to CGC several different times may and usually does get a different numerical grade each time. Grading is an opinion, not a fact, because there are aesthetic biases and preferences conscious and unconscious for each grader (for example, I don't mind date stamps and charcoal pencil markings and would not down-grade, but hate extensive spine wear and subscription creases on my books which would drop an otherwise nice book down a grade). The grade I give is one I believe reflects my 40 years of experience in the hobby looking at thousands of books. I try to identify all major defects, missing pages or panels, page whiteness and other serious grade-affecting issues, and will fully refund a purchase if I have not identified a major defect ahead of listing. I also include multiple hi-resolution pictures of front, back, interior, and close-up cover shots, to give a buyer every chance to see what they are buying ahead of time. Please ask questions if you are not sure.
* Comic books are shipped using top-quality comic-specific boxes. Books are shipped media mail unless you coordinate ahead of time. United States and Canada shipping only, unless agreed ahead of auction end. We ship each comic and magazine in a brand-new 2 mil mylar (Mylite) for long-term archival quality storage (protects against environmental and age issues and lasts upwards of 20 years), as well as new Gerber acid-free backing boards. I combine shipping on all multiple wins/orders (please let me know if you are still bidding on items when I send an invoice/order total).
