ADEN. 1937. George VI. 5 rupees Purple Arab Dhow Definitive. Used. Sg.11 or 11a. Cat. £140.00 - £180.00 depending on colour (see below)..Odd copy, hardly looks to be Deep Purple (Sg11) but shows no sign of being Aniline on the reverse to be Bright Purple (Sg 11a). Full perfs and quite a heavy postmark. It may well have been very wet in the soaking off process, or even in the post. All in all I think Spacefiller might cover it, hence the Starting Price..
