Venetian Murano Salviati Blown Glass Sugar Bowl with Gold Leaf, Mask Handles
Fine antique or early vintage Venetian.Murano blown glass sugar or dessert bowl, probably made by the Salviati factory, Italy. Elegant footed bowl, blown with a subtle wrythen or rippled effect; lavish and bright gold leaf or gold aventurine inclusions throughout. Applied theatrical venetian mask "handle" detail.
Item remains in extremely good original condition throug...hout with no damage and lovely clean, clear surfaces inside and out.
No maker's or other marks.
