This is a nice copy of Kathy No. 8 from Zenith Publishing Corp. (Atlas/Marvel) Comics from December 1960. This has two pages of paper dolls.After the Atlas Implosion of 1957, Martin Goodman was limited on how many comics he could produce each month. Every time he or Stan Lee wanted to put out a new title, they would be forced to cancel a current one. I am not sure which title got the axe for Kathy to come on the market b...ut it must have been worthwhile since the title lasted through the creation of the Marvel Age of Comics and was supplanted by one of the superhero titles. As with the previous humor titles all scripts are by Stan Lee. All issues of Kathy have art by Stan Goldberg. Very much in the Archie style this has become a popular early Marvel title to collect as is Linda Carter, Student Nurse. I grade this book at Very Good. Small split on top and a little over an inch on bottom of spine. Tear on back cover at bottom. Slight corner crease on bottom right of front cover. Other defects associated with grade. cover has super color, especially for these white covers, and fantastic gloss. Check out large scans for your determination of grade. Overstreet lists this book at very good at $28.00. I find these books sell very well at conventions so I am going to start this around guide price. Still an affordable nice copy for your collectionI have been selling on ebay for over fifteen years and have always maintained 100% feedback.
