THE DETAILS ABOUT THE BOAT WERE TAKEN IN GOOD FAITH FROM THE DONOR AND CANNOT BE VERIFIED COMPLETELY BY AFH. THEREFORE, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO EXAMINE THE BOAT BEFORE PURCHASE. 1968 Allied Seabreeze 35' sailboat in project condition. Full keel with centerboard. Vetus Diesel engine. The boat was stuck by lightning in 2018 and since then, the engine will not run. The donor states that the lightning strike caused wiring failure, causing the engine not to start. They state that the engine was running before the lightning strike. We do not know if the engine will start now. The current sails are torn due to high winds, but the donor has a replacement set they will give to the buyer. The boat was entirely rebuilt in 1991. The boat was last used in 2017. The boat is located in Isle of Palms, SC. If you intend on bidding, please call to set up a time to view the boat seeing that the boat will need work.
