This is an original country of origin 30" x 40" British quad poster for the 1974 James Bond film produced for United Artists under the classic stewardship of Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman and director Guy Hamilton. Ian Fleming's spy novel received the usual terrific treatment with the help of two beautiful Bond Girls, Britt Eklund and Maud Adams, and an incredibly dangerous villain portrayed by Hammer Films "Dracula" star Christopher Lee. He is accompanied by one of ...the best Bond henchmen, diminutive Nick Nack as essayed by French actor Herve Villechaize. Stunning Far East location work in this effort includes Kowloon, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, the wreck of the Queen Elizabeth ocean liner, the Peninsula Hotel, and of course, Pinewood Studios in the UK. The poster is in very fine, folded condition. This particular poster format is quite rare and scarce for this title, being that country-of-origin posters on the James Bond film, in this case England, are the most sought after of all Bond poster collectibles and this one is really both scarce and rare, for some reason). There is a small paper snipe over the original United Artists TransAmerica Corporation logo that mentions MGM/UA Entertainment Co. Note: This is an original piece of movie memorabilia that hung in theatres at the time of the film's release, not a cheap reproduction.
