Hello! I’m Kirk Nicholson, owner of Planet of Stuff I was an avid collector and seller in the late 80's early 1990's. Over several years I bought many thousands of pieces both new and vintage from a variety of sources and sold many piec...es through >gasp< print ads! Then in the mid 90's - just as the internet was becoming a real thing (and I was just beginning to sell on eBay), life changed for me and my collection was placed in storage.
Many, many years later…
Planet of Stuff the retail store opened to the public in June of 2014 and we began selling my collection. We have only scratched the surface of my collection and many boxes have not been unpacked in nearly 15 years!! Also, we continue to purchase collections from other collectors so “new” stuff is being brought out weekly!

If you plan to pick up please DO NOT pay the invoice before contacting us to arrange removal of shipping charges.
PAYMENT: Payment must be made within 48 hours unless you contact us with special arrangements (ie: combined shipping). If payment is not received within 48 hours, the sale will be canceled and your desired item re listed.
COMBINED SHIPPING: Combined shipping is available where multiple purchases have been made within a 5-day period. If you wish to make use of combined shipping, please wait until you are invoiced with the adjusted shipping cost before paying for your purchases.
PACKAGING: All items are securely and professionally packaged.
SHIPPING: Please note that we ship every Thursday afternoon for reasons explained below. This means that your item(s) will be shipped the first FULL Thursday after your payment is received.
US & INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: To provide you with reasonable shipping rates which include tracking, your item is packaged at our retail store in Peterborough, Ontario Canada and is transported to the United States Post Office in Niagara Falls, New York for processing. This is why the “Item Location” or “Shipped From” is different from our actual location.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We do ship worldwide and have done so for 4 years now. In that time, shipping hundreds of items we have NOT had any items go missing, but some to places like Australia and Asia have taken some weeks. Please know that International customs and weather can have a big effect on shipping from North America, and can take time!
DELIVERY TIME: As stated, we ship every Thursday, and will mark your item as shipped when it is safely in the hands of the Postal Service.
EXPECTED DELIVERY*
US: 2 - 4 BUSINESS days AFTER shipping date.
Canada: 2 - 8 BUSINESS days AFTER shipping date.
UK & Europe: 6 - 12 BUSINESS days AFTER shipping date.
Australia / Asia: 7 - 21 BUSINESS days AFTER shipping date.
* Please understand we have absolutely NO CONTROL over how long the Postal Service takes to get your package to you, but we have not had a single item go missing in our 4 years of shipping.

Canada: 10 BUSINESS days AFTER shipping date.

RETURNS: Because we deal in vintage, mostly one-of-a-kind, and often pre-loved items, we are sorry, but we do not accept returns. We do however extensively photograph items and encourage you to look at all the photos carefully and ask any questions you have BEFORE bidding or buying.
CANADA SALES TAX: Sorry fellow Canadians, but as a Canadian business we are required by law to charge applicable sales tax on all purchases made by residents of Canada. We’ve gotta build those roads and hospitals somehow!
