16/17thC Antique Thai Ayutthaya Bronze Figure Crowned Buddha Shakyamuni.Meditating crowned Bhuddha seated in virasana pose on a shaped base and displaying the Dhyana Mudra position.Serene facial expression and downcast eyes, flanked by a pair of elongated earlobes and framed by a peaked crown and usnisha, the latter surmounted by a tall finial.Bronze copper alloy figure with some gilding and part core present.Date 16th to 18thC, Mature Ayutthaya Style.Condition Report:Please be aware ...that we sell antiques and as such most items we sell will show defects and/or damage to varying degrees, not all defects/damage might be listed in detail below.Measures approx. 14cm (5 1/2") high and 7cm (2 3/4") across at widest.Weight 220g.Casting faults and corrosion present, signs of wear and/or use commensurate with age.Please see pictures.
