Please view our photos for additional information. 1979 Four 400 Yuan Gold Coins 30th Anniversary Founding China Box & Papers “To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the People’s Bank of China has been authorized by the State Council to issue a commemorative set of gold coins. Each proof set consists of four coins of exquisite craftsmanship, all with a face value of 400 Yuan. The obverse design of each coin is the national emblem of the People’s Republic of China, the reverse designs are, respectively, Tian An Men, the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Each coin, 27mm in diameter, 22k, contains half an ounce of pure gold. Fineness and weight are up to standard. Of these, this certificate serves as a guarantee.” Certificate of Guarantee # 35302
