This gorgeous gal is Allejandra, a character doll by artist Pamela Phillips. Allejandra is exquisite! From her perfect hair which falls in golden-red ringlets to the tips of her antique style shoes, she is gorgeous and in pristine condition. She comes with her original hang tag and Certificate of Authenticity.The charming thing about Allejandra is that she has her own “antique doll, ” a 6” porcelain Bru doll with a matching dress! Allejandra is 19” tall, with delicate porcelai...n features, a wire armature inside her stuffed fabric body which allows her to be posed, and detailed and historically correct clothing, And, her clothing is absolutely stunning. Lace trimmed and appliqued and tied with big bows, over silken-looking fabric which glistens with richness. I took pictures both with and without the flash to try and capture the gleam of the fabric in different light. Also included is a Merrymeeting Company Allejandra Doll ad from Doll Reader dated March-April, 2002. Pristine condition. Although without her box, her packing was only removed from her hands and feet - and her doll’s too! – for taking pictures.A treasure to enjoy for many years to come.
