I do not know how this 1939 Pascall Log House for the Dwarfs has survived , it is in need of serious renovation. however a real gem for those who collect Snow White or Advertising Memorabilia . You can see the original advertising from their 1939 Export Catalogue. It is model 5377 and originally contained 10 surprises inside , I would imagine these were sweets. The cabin is only made of cardboard with cotton wool type material used for the roof to show snow, soft tiss...ue to cover the cabin and cloth door with Pascall on it. There is one dwarf still attached with his Donkey, metal cart and metal ladder and a celluloid bird on the roof. There are the other 6 Dwarfs and Snow White not attached but you can still see where they were glued onto the ground near the cottage. All the Dwarfs are the same with no distinction of the characters and Snow White appears a little different than in the picture but they did come with it. However it maybe because the house pictured is a larger model 5438 with 12 surprises and a dwarf with a different cart. The cabin measures 15 inches long. Snow White, Dwarfs, Donkey and Bird are Celluloid. Snow White is 6 1/4 inches tall and the Dwarfs are nearly 3 inches tall. As I say a renovation project , The cardboard end is still there presumably that is what you took off to get to the surprises. One of the cardboard tops is missing from the chimney There is only the bottom of the box left and that is damaged but at least shows the model number and that it is original to the cabin. It is very special but hopefully someone can make it Fantastic again. Pascall made confectionery from 1866 with Cadbury becoming a joint venture from 1938 and continued for many years. I can imagine this would have been a wonderful Christmas Present For a Child.
