Needless to say, the combination of a vibrant blue dial and the gray/blue “ghost” bezel are two ticks in any vintage collectors handbook...
PATINA, is the name of the game...
"EXCELLENT" Condition in eBay's "Condition Description?!!Fully...Wound is asking for it....
Well, yea kinda... Condition is subjective... etc blah blah... But ... EXCELLENT by market standard?... F* yea...
an, ALL Original 76100, is a rare thing... So often we see these watches "Redialed" - "Restored" - "Revised"... and frankly RUINED..yea, MINT, NOS, EXCELLENT, examples demand the highest prices amongst collectors for sure, but so often these words mean "re-polished" "repainted" and "Frankened"...
If you cant buy NOS Buy CORRECT, ALL Original examples... Patina scuffs dings and all! Ghosted bezels, Aged tritium lume, and the odd scuff and nick to a case thats around 50 years old?... Expected if not desired!

The Submariner "Lollopop" The “Lollipop”As popular as the Snowflake is to collectors. The 94010 and 76100 Lollipop Tudor Submariner is known by this name due to an hour hand that lacks the traditional Rolex “Mercedes” hand. The movement is a 25-jewel, hacking ETA 2824-2 modified by Tudor. This piece dates to roughly 1984/85 and features a round and triangular combination of hour markers. This watch also features a Rolex trip-lock crown.
With prices now approaching, or even exceeding, some recent vintage Rolex Sub models, prices of vintage Tudors were not always so high, so they were a relative bargain for a Rolex-manufactured watch. Demand over time likely almost certainly caused pricing to increase to the point where they are no longer the relative bargains of yesterday.
We have no idea of actual production numbers, but Tudor Submariners are seemingly more rare than their similarly aged vintage Rolex counterparts. Go take a look on the usual sites and you won’t see many. Let me rephrase that: you will see several but most are highly priced, heavily aged, or modified.
Rolex and Tudor Submariners were born from the same concept that was introduced by René-Paul Jeanneret, a member of Rolex SA’s Board of Directors. Jeanneret, who was also a diver, came up with the idea to create a watch that would not only be great for diving but also be elegant enough for casual use. His idea spurred the creation of many Rolex diver’s watches, including the Submariner. Therefore, Rolex and Tudor Submariner watches were created to serve two purposes: First be durable enough to handle the rigors of diving underwater use and second – be suitable timepieces for everyday wear.
The Case THE CASE
Classic Rolex oyster case 39.5mm in diameter, excluding crown, 43.6mm inclusive. Correct Rolex Triplock crown (NOS stock replaced in service if you have read above, NEW (old) Crown & tube) signed crown almost fully integrated to its crown guard.47mm lug tip to lug tip with 20mm lug spacing Case is a hermetic seal screwdown case, fully Rolex submariner in design and manufacture.
The Bezel Again, Fully Rolex in design, Smooth bi-directional, classic divers "count up" bezel, now "Ghosted" to an almost lavender coloration, a simply stunning ghosted ALL ORIGINAL Bezel.
The Dial The biggest asset of this Tudor Submariner is of course its bezel; it has faded beautifully from the original blue color and gives a lot of character to this vintage diver. The dial itself has also aged quite nicely, without the bubbling observed on many other vintage Tudors. The indexes have taken on a nice patina, Importantly, the lollipop handset has not lost its lume, as can often happen with examples of this age.
The StrapNo Oyster Sub is complete without an oyster strap! Tudor 9315 with 380 end links, easily collectors would pay handsomely for this alone... But we just could not split them up!The strap may have some age ware and play but just to have this is a nice touch!
Additionally as it looks so badass... we have a leather unworn Gekota perforated strap .. , suits the watch nicely but you may want to "make the watch your own" so to speak 20mm lugs so your options are pretty much boundless.

But please have some empathy for your ebay sellers... The excuses "My Daughter / Son bid on this watch without my knowledge", "I am unable to complete this sale due to unexpected family / financial issues", "My cat bid on this watch" and simply "I bid by mistake" Are ALL exceptionally common or overused excuses... So please for my sanity, take the phone off your children, don't bid away your life savings with your terminally ill mother in hospital or simply for the sake of wit and comedic effect just come up with a more f*cking original reason for wasting my time. Thx.
