1985 Beneteau First 345

******Update with more pics. A note to some not familiar with this model. It is the two stateroom model. One queen Aft, V-Berth forward, head aft. As I stated...this boat needs to be finished hence the low price. You can see some of the parts on the seat. It is brand new and never used. I also am adding a new pump for the A/C, new brass seacock, and Magma rail mount propane grill for the deck.
I have not done ANYTHING to the aft cabin except use it for storage while... I was working on the other parts of the boat. If you're handy, you can do ALL of the work yourself. There are only one or two 345's on the market. One was a piece of junk and they were asking $21, 000.

This is a 1985 Beneteau purchased by me 3 years ago. It was sailed and motored from south NJ, up the Hudson to Albany where it is currently on the hard. I purchased it to restore but other commitments have left me little time. This boat is perfect for someone that does not have a lot of craft skills as most of the difficult work has been done. There are just over 700 hours on the Volvo diesel at 6 knots I made the 140 miles from NYC to Albany for just under 60 dollars in fuel. Sails have not been unfurled or hoisted in two years and all working and in decent shape when last used. I removed, stripped the headliners in the v-berth and head. I have new headliner for v-berth and rear queen that will need installation. Boat has VHF (portable and stationary). She has wheel steering but for those who prefer or as a back-up, there is a brand new tiller with it. I will have the engine tuned and filters changed in the yard upon sale.
You will need to install new lifelines and some of the running rigging.The standing rigging appears sound.
Last year I had the boat professionally glass blasted and made a few small repairs. The boat had the bottom stripped and 3 coats of epoxy and 3 coats of anti-fouling.paint. The boat hull was then professionally spray painted with Alwgrip (See pics). This boat is perfect for someone looking for a live aboard/weekender/cruiser/racer
No Keel Kickers Please. I could junk this for parts and get 8k. She's a great boat waiting for a fresh name on the back. More photo's of interior will be coming in the next few days
