1989 Laforza Magnum Supercharged. 4WD
Item History & Price
NO RESERVE!!!!Attention Ferrari, Italian and Unique Car Collectors!
I have for sale a rare La Forza SUV. It is perfectly complete, runs great, looks great. Classic ferrari red/tan, new tires, new battery, new windshield. Included in the sale are 2 additional parts cars with thousands ($$) of valuable and rare parts. Can be combined to make a second car, both have engines, etc. All 3 for one price!
NOTE: This one price gets you ALL 3 cars. The complete running ca...r, plus the 2 parts cars (which can produce another complete running car and more).
1) Red with tan interior, with V8 + supercharger. Runs great. recent service. new tires.
2) black with tan interior. Has 5.0 302 V8 GT engine with aluminum intake, headers and MSD ignition.
3) white with black interior. Basic Laforza 5.0 302 V8 engine.
All three cars are going for one low price. This is an incredible opportunity. The parts alone are worth way more than my selling price. Many people around the world are looking for parts.
These are great cars to add to a Ferrari collection since they were designed by Pininfarina and Tom Tjaarda (Pantera fame) and even produced along side the Testarossa. And they are often called the "Ferrari SUV"
About the Laforza
The Rayton-Fissore Laforza was an Italian luxury SUV created by taking a military off-roader, filling it with luxurious appointments and selling it for a lot of money. It was meant to compete with the Range Rover and Mercedes G-Wagen, which were the only two other names in town at the time. The Italian SUV was more luxurious and more capable off-road than the other two luxury SUVs, but unfortunately, it wasn't a sales success in the U.S.
The Laforza first debuted in Europe as the Magnum 4x4, a medium-weight military off-roader, in 1984. In 1988, Rayton-Fissore wanted to bring the Magnum to the lucrative American market but decided the engine choices were too European and the name was too American. The Magnum was renamed the Laforza, befitting its Italian heritage, and a 5.0-liter Ford V8 was swapped into the vehicle, making it the DeTomaso Pantera of SUVs. This is actually a very fitting analogy, because both the Pantera and Laforza were designed by the same guy, Tom Tjaarda as part of Pininfarina. Some models included a supercharger fitted to the Ford V8.
