Offering a single carved wooden treenware ladle with nice wear and patina. Interesting scale and proportion. Measures 11” long by 5 1/2” wide. Inscribed on back is “ 19/12/91” which I assume dates it to December 12, 1891. Traces of old varnish on surface. Has nice wear and a few worm holes. I think it is poplar or chestnut? Wood. Hard to tell. Selling as found from the estate of a lifelong Americana collector.
