Lovely quality this vintage cup and saucer set is stamped AYNSLEY England Bone China on both pieces. Featuring an Oban paneled cup and saucer form. The pattern is # 1225 which consists of roses on a chintz style pattern on the inside and a single pink rose with violets surrounding it on the plain white front and repeated on the back. The saucer is the same beautiful and stunning pink as the inside border of the cup, and both pieces trimmed in gold on handle, rim and pe...destal base.The cup is slightly raised pedestal style and inside features the chintz roses pattern and pink band to the top of the cup. The pattern number is written in gold on the bottom of the cup and looks to be 1225.The cup holds 1 cup of tea. The saucer measures about 5 1/2 inches across with boarder of gold trim and white in the center. The cup and saucer are in excellent vintage condition and pass the ping test.Beautiful, eye catching set.
