Vintage Hollohaza Hungarian Porcelain 8" Vase, dark green & white. Two trinket boxes also go along with this. All three pieces are in beautiful condition, with no cracks, chips or dents in them.
The Porcelain Factory in Hollóháza – operated by Hungarian Porcelain Manufactory Ltd. - is one of the few Hungarian factories with a historical tradition since 1831.
All three pieces are in excellent condition, fully glazed, with no chips, cracks or repair.
The Hung...arian cylindrical vase and the two trinket boxes depict a surrealist woman portrait and sun. The rim of the dish has gold trim.
Endre Szász (1926 – 2003) was a Hungarian painter, illustrator, graphic artist, print maker, muralist, production designer and ceramics decorator (porcelain painter). He described himself as a Folk Surrealist.
