Offered is a wonderful small plate or bowl from Ned Foltz Pottery in Reinhold, Lancaster Co. PA. I believe this plate was done for a Hooked Rug Show Ned and Gwen had at their pottery in 2008. Have been told by a long-time Foltz collector that Gwen painted this plate - it features a running deer over a leaf and some berries with a green and off-white mottled or sponged border. It is 7 1/8" inches in diameter and dark in appearance. The white spot on his face is hi...s eye. Incised on the back Hooked Rug Design - Ned Foltz - Foltz logo and Reinholds, PA 2008. I believe this plate would have sold for about $85.00 in 2008 at the show.
