Design: Modeled after the main Tiffany & Co. building at 550 Broadway in New York City. The building's clock is known as ...Atlas Holding Clock. The Atlas figure is seen on both sides of the teapot.
The clock: Roman numerals, set at the standard time 10:10, as used in most photos advertising for Tiffany clocks & watches.
The origin of the 10:10 or 10 & 2 is said to form a V for Victory. Others state it is simply for symmetry, that it's more pleasant to look at, which certainly makes sense with marketing and branding.Teapot Origin: Uncertain but this teapot likely made for Tiffany & Co for Italy or France.
