Here are 12 beautiful little Batchelder Tile Company art tiles with a variety of low relief designs of stylized Mayan, floral, and geometric patterns. The matte bisque surface of the raised design is highlighted by the green, yellow, and blue glaze colors in the recess'. The tile company was located in Los Angeles California from 1909-1932 and the work was sold throughout the United States. They measure about 1 3/4 inches square and about 3/4 inch thick. There a...re only minor nicks to the corners or edges and no big chips, repairs, cracks, or firing flaws, just some grout on the back and sides. Unmarked.
