Vintage IBM Model F XT w/ XT to USB Adapter **Must See**. This keyboard was the premier keyboard for the IBM PC in the early 1980s and was the precursor to the more affordable model M. No expense was spared in making this Keyboard, which in today’s value would cost around $900.
This Keyboard types like a as dream, smooth and tactile, requiring less force than the later model M. The sound of the metallic clicking is described by many enthusiasts as the keyboard “singing”. This... is all original, but has been cleaned, reassembled, and tested. Riser feet and original cork pads and black curly cable are in great shape. The only addition is the Soarer adapter so that you can plug and play on your favorite PC.
Based on internal component dates appears to have been assembled December 1983, so this is a 37 year old keyboard. It’s in working order and visually looks great only minor paint fading), but it’s a used keyboard. If you have a question, please ask. If it’s not in the picture, it’s not included.
