Up for auction is a rare copy of Simon Hawke's Friday the 13th (Part One). It has been stored on my bookshelf in a non-smoke home for the past 20 years.
Having read all four books twenty years ago, my memory is that the storyline follows the script and then elaborates especially on how Jason is "special" with regard to his body compared with other humans. Many/most of the characters are the same ones from the original movies from the early 1980s.
