You are bidding on a VERY NICE used example of a WW2 USAAF Flap and Trim Control Wheel, as ONLY used on the Vultee BT-13 Valiant Trainer Aircraft! The Vultee BT-13 Valiant was an American World War II-era basic (a category between primary and advanced) trainer aircraft built by Vultee Aircraft for the United States Army Air Corps, and later US Army Air Forces. A subsequent variant of the BT-13 in USAAC/USAAF service was known as the BT-15 Valiant, while an identical ...version for the US Navy was known as the SNV and was used to train naval aviators for the US Navy and its sister services, the US Marine Corps and US Coast Guard. Made of aluminum, brass, and steel, this is a VERY NICE used example. Though there are some marks, scratches, and wear it appears to be mostly complete, apart from the wood handle and some missing screws/bolts. Much of the original paint remains, as well as all markings. Numerous part numbers throughout. This came wtih a large lot of WW2 Radio and Aircraft Parts, which are also listed. Would make an EXCELLENT addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!
