Here is an unusual early 1900's newel post lamp that came from architectural salvage. It is in atorch shade and probably originally had a flame shaped shade on top. There are flamingtorch motifs on the sides of the lamp. It can be controlled with a wall switch or it has a pullchain.The lamp measures 18" to the top of the shade holder and 25" to the top of the shade. Greataddition to your staircase. Very hard to find.(I noticed that it looked crooked ...in the first picture. The threaded rod inside wasn't tightenedenough so I corrected that).
