Original Description:
A stunning gilt bronze or brass mantle clock case in the Louis XVI style! Man with sword sits atop the case in battle with the large snake below. Overall very nice condition. It would appear that he had a sword sheath attached to his hilt, that is no longer present. Clock case stands about 16 1/2-in tall to the tip of his sword by 97/8-in wide by 318-in deep at the base. Clock face opening measures about 2 3/4-in.
