Vintage Vacuum Glass Bell Jar - Dome Height 19" Diameter from base up is 8 5/8 in. Diameter at base edge is wider at 9 7/8 in. Condition is used but bell jar is in excellent condition.
Along one edge of the bottom are several longitudinal air pockets introduced when bell jar was made (see photo). And there are some micro bubbles, hardly noticeable, throughout the glass. There are no cracks, fractures, breaks o...r sharp edges on the entire bell jar. This is a very clean, clear glass bell jar that has been in my family since the 1930’s.
