Description

This is  Antique French 8 day bell striking mantel clock movement by S Marti & CIE MEDAILLE DE BRONZE, which works, but it can use a cleaning . It has a 3" Blue hand painted Serves Porcelain dial with decoration, the dial has Roman numerals and its original  hands.  It has bronze bezel with glass covering, and It comes with the pendulum and a winding key

The Movement will fit into a 3 7/16"  in diameter aperature...>Out side Diameter is about 3 7/8" of inchStraps are about 4" long with screws
 Pendulum length is 4.5 inch long approx.

Condition Report

The movement is being sold as (Needs Adjustment, Running Fast), but working,  please see photos for condition as part of its Description. Important Please Read: ALL Mantel Antique / Vintage Clock's Movements after transport no matter how well they have been looked after or serviced may require setting up, adjustments and setting into beat when you receive them and I always recommend a professional or an experienced clock person to do this correctly for you. Unfortunately, with some clocks it is not a matter of unpacking them, putting the pendulum on and away they go, some clocks will need the extra adjustments and setting into beat so please remember this before bidding. Most clocks will be ok and will not need any additional adjustments but please bear in mind this may not be the case. Any clocks returned because of setting up issues or adjustments needed after transit then a fee will be applicable.
