This vintage Sears Roebuck Craftsman model 2504 articulated machine shop work lamp was mounted to the side of my Father-in laws Bridgeport mill for a long time. He said "it always worked perfectly". It measures about 36" long fully extended, it has 4 points of articulation with two arms about 13" long and has a head about 10" long. The bulb hood measures about 4" wide x 3" deep x 5 1/4" long. Mounting bracket is about 3" x 1". This is in very good vintage pre-owned condition.... When I got the lamp it had frayed old wiring that had petrified and a very worn out bulb socket so I rewired it and installed a new socket head for safety and reliability. It used to be wired with the cable coming out of the middle of the lamp right above the middle joint. I thought it made more sense to have the wire feed from the bottom of the lamp at the mounting point so it's more convenient than it was originally It works like a new light and will be reliable for a long time. It has the normal wear and discoloration, and some light surface rust throughout that is consistent with its age and industrial use. You can clearly see on the end of the bulb hood the outline of the Craftsman logo that faded away long ago (see pictures). This all adds greatly to the vintage patina that makes this lamp a piece of art that can actually be put to daily use. Bulb included.
